Your analysis would seem to be correct. I am just surprised that's all they bring. Had I been there, I would have bid up the Mayfair Maize car - very nice car.

Sold at "buy it now price" $27,900 fair deal for both seller and buyer. From looking at bidding action it looked like someone was really interested and put a nice bid in at $24,000 and when he got out bid he realized he better do the "buy it now" if he really wanted the car or risk losing it for just a couple of thousand bucks. When I saw the bidding action this morning I thought if someone doesn't do the the "buy it now" I was going to be a little suspicious of the bidding...but good sale. Congrats

We have a new member. "8lug" just joined our group - the buyer of the '66 coupe discussed in this post. He's awaiting delivery of the car. Hopefully he'll share the "first drive" experience & some pictures with us here.
