Here's a beauty for sale by "Bonneville Joe" Evans. All done, ready to go/show.

Joe Evans previously sold the Blue Charcoal '65 to Registry member "Pontiaclady".
wonder where he's getting all the 2+2's?

I thought the '65 he sold earlier in the year was one of the best deals so far this year on a 2+2(congrats to the member you mentioned who bought it) ....I was looking really hard at that one. I really like what he did on this. The auto will always keep the value down on these... I'd be shocked if the bid goes over $20k...the buyer will be getting a really nice car.

Automatic or not, I'd be shocked if this goes for anything near as low as $20K. There's a lot of car there.

I don't think it will sell for $20k but that is where the ebay bidding will end. The last time he listed the '65 (I think 3 times) starting at about the same place and eventually brought his buy it now price down to I think $23k and it didn't close on ebay.

For any 2+2 fan it is a great value...

I struggle constantly trying to figure why these cars don't get the respect (i.e. market value) they deserve. Slap a bowtie on that car and it would sell easily in the $30's ($40's at Barrett-Jackson).
Very frustrating.

Here's a good example of one that went throught the Barrett Jackson auction at Palm Beach this year(#99)
www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onli...mp;ed=04%2f03%2f2010
I think it is at very comparable quality to the ebay car (upgraded to HO etc) but this one had a 4 speed (which I think adds $5k to this car) sold for $28,000 plus buyers premium brought the buyers cost to $31,900 but the seller got about $25,000.

$22,000 brought a '65 WH code at the RM auction in San Diego and over $40k for a a really nice HO (looked like it was ending at $35k but 2 buyers hooked up and pushed the price. The RM auction spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to promote the auction and the results I think show the top of the market.

Bid is already at $20k. I think around $23k is the market price for this one...
