At the Nutter Center, July 9-13.
Second time around for a joint convention between these fine groups. The last one was in 2009 (also in Dayton, and the first POCI convention I attended) and it was great. Probably the largest all-Pontiac gathering in history.
If you want to register your car for show or judging participation, the deadline is approaching.
See this for more info: Click here for link

If you go, look for the blue 1965 2+2 inside the Nutter Center and say "hello".

I just returned from the Co-vention on Sunday. Great show! I believe there were 1300 cars registered (that's unofficial) between POCI & GTOAA, points judged, popular vote, and "Road Warriors". Some real beauties, and something for any taste, modified to stock & race. I counted nearly a dozen 2+2's, which is a good showing.

Congrats to the following for their awards:
Don Anderson ("Don A") - Gold Award in Stock Judging
Gary Kittle ("Kittle") - Gold Junior in Stock Judging
Tom Speaks ("2-2tommy") - Gold Award in Modified Class
Dante Principe ("Big Red") - Silver Award in Modified Class
Apologies if I missed anyone - let me know.

If any of you are not members of POCI, I would encourage you to join. It's a great organization and works hard to support the Pontiac hobby and preserve the legacy of these great cars. For $35/year your membership includes a monthly issue of "Smoke Signals" - one of the best monthly car club magazines published, and comparable to anything on the newsstand.

New member Tom "iboughtin65" Bryte also won at Dayton - a Popular Vote "Outstanding" Award in the 2+2 class. Congrats!
As you can guess from Tom's user name, he is the original owner of his '65 convertible. I know of only 8 original owners on the Registry - quite a select group, so let me know if I should add anyone else to the list.
