I received the following message:

This is an enquiry e-mail via www.pontiac2plus2registry.com/ from:
tom worful <tomworful@yahoo.com>

"Hello 2+2 guys. I am seeking my dads long lost 1965 pontiac 2+2 conv. He bought it new on Sept 7 1965 from Cook Pontiac Company in Louisville, Ky. The car was black with parchment interior and a black top. Last seen in Lou. 1968 Chevron station on the corner of Taylorsville Rd and Bardstown Rd. The VIN is 252675f374124 Please ck your conv for this vin. I would be interested in talking to the owner and also interested in the purchase of this car ,any condition. Thanks Tom Worful 1 502 845-1185"

Here's an example of why full VIN's on the registry would be helpful.
If anyone can help him in his quest, let us know.
