2+2 Police cars? 13 Years, 2 Months ago
I just heard from new member "jdean1955" that a friend of his from New Jersey said that the NJ State Police used Pontiac 2+2's as patrol cars back in the day. Anyone out there ever hear of this, or a similar story elsewhere?

A local Sheriff had a '66 Pontiac 4dr. Not sure what model with a 421 Tri-Power 4-Speed. A friend of mine waited till they traded it in to try to buy it. He took his friends for a ride and run it thru the gears, after reaching 120 he asked them if they wanted him to hit the Tri-Power. He had gotten back out of the Tri-Power and just flying along. He nailed it and set them back in their seats.
