I received an inquiry from Allan Wells:

"In Feb.1965 I bought new a 1965 2 +2 blue charcoal with same interior. Had the 4-speed, 8-lug wheels, and posi rear end. Also had no a/c or center console. VIN # was 252375X138007. I was wondering if you had any records if this car is still around or if it has gone by the wayside. Would like to talk to its owner if still around.The car was a coupe and had the base 338 hp engine. Bought new from Pew's Pontiac in LeMars, Iowa. Had to sell the car in 1966 as I went back to college. It was so long ago that I do not remember the name of the person I sold it to. I did see the car 2 years later for sale again but lost track of it after that."

I could find no record of this car either on this Registry* or that maintained by Larry Kosek until 1995. If anyone can help, let us know.
