How do I insert acquired date in profile? Pull down calendar is impossible for purchase in 1966!

Welcome to the 2+2 Registry, Merl.
I changed it to 1966 for you but, as I don't know the correct month/day, I chose 5/29 at random. You can go into your profile to correct the date.
Are you the original owner?

Yes, I am the original owner. I am just getting acquainted with your site. Let me know if there is anything I should be doing.

Congratulations! So far we have documented only 6 members who bought their 2+2 new - quite an exceptional thing to have kept the car through so many decades.
Nothing you SHOULD be doing, but plenty you can do:
post photos of your car to share with others
post your car's story here in the forum - I know there are others who would enjoy hearing that from an original owner
browse the articles and links to other informative sites
research the Registry to see how many cars similar to yours are surviving
contact other members, through the forum or via private message
visit the Registry store for branded items to show your support of the 2+2 Registry
I could go on, but generally speaking this site was started with the hope that the community of 2+2 owners and fans would find this site to be an arena to exchange ideas, stories, tech tips, etc. There aren't many of us out there, so the Internet is a great medium for "getting together" despite our being spread around the globe.
I'd love to see more forum activity, so anyone out there is encouraged to participate.
I attend every POCI Convention and the Tri-Power Nationals in Norwalk, so please look me up when you're there. Always great to swap 2+2 stories with old & new friends!
