No sale on the first go around at $20,200, so it is up again at

with a very reasonable buy-it-now price of $34,500.
In early October there was a different car on sold through Ebay at

The value is definitely higher than the bidding would indicate. They only built 445 1967 2+2 convertibles w/4-speed manual, and this is PHS documented as such. Judging by the Registry, there are considerably fewer than that number left.
Anyone who has ever restored one of these land yachts know it is much wiser to buy one done than pay for the restoration yourself. Steve obviously spent a lot more making this a very nice, desirable car than his family can recover. I'm normally a "pure stock" kind of guy, but I like the Tri-Power addition, which is easily worth $2500 or so. Convertible, air, power windows, 8-lugs....does it get any better? Well, only if you can force 2+ tons of Pontiac down the road using a stick shift...oh yeah, you can with this one. If you've never experienced a Big Pontiac with 6-barrels of air & fuel backed by a 4-speed, you haven't lived. Very occasionally you'll ran up against a quicker car, but I can guarantee that you're still having more fun than they are.
Take a serious look at this car. Don't let it get away.
